Boca de loba
From a desert myth, we explore the themes of death and eroticism.
In the cave, the mouth of the Loba, dwell the Chivalas: Lava, Wind, Oasis, and Darkness. Daughters of the Loba, the goddess of transformation. Untamed, amorphous, embodied elements of the desert, the Chivalas endure dehydration, extreme temperature changes, gusting winds, and mirages to pass through the portal of death. Between the cave and the temple, the four trace the waltz of deconstruction to reach the divinity of their mother, the Loba
We chose the desert as a chimera of feminine energy. A terrain that leans toward the curved, the cyclical, the horizontal, the sensitive, stealthy, and expansive. A seemingly barren, extreme land, reflecting the essence—the essence necessary for accepting death.
